Sometimes a particular bundle of fabric will call my name and I just have to make something from it. That’s what happened when I discovered Sarah Jane’s Magic fabric bundle.
Full of pretty pastels and metallic shimmer, these prints were just perfect for my daughter’s bedroom! They were so fun to piece and put together, and I’m really happy with the result.
You can find the pattern for this quilt for free on the Michael Miller Fabrics website. The Magic collection by Sarah Jane is still available online at most quilt fabric shops, like the Fat Quarter Shop.
These prints remind me so much of a ballerina quilt I had on my bed growing up that my great grandma made. Fabrics can leave a big impression! I hope my daughter remembers this quilt for years after she’s grown, too.
And especially all the little messages I made to her…
