I am so excited to share this free printable with you today!
I’ve been wanting to put up some wall art in my son’s room for awhile now. We painted his room a couple of years ago but never got around to putting up any wall art or adding any finishing touches. Why do projects take me foreeeever to complete?!
Now, I don’t know if this is true with everyone but I remember everything that was on the walls of my room as a kid. The Bible verses, the quotes, the pictures… I remember it all. So, I want to put up inspirational encouraging art, quotes, and verses in my son’s room as well. Things that he will remember and take with him even after he leaves home.
I LOVE this verse. Although it obviously applies to everyone, I think it’s an awesome verse for a boy’s room.
This verse comes from I Corinthians 16:13-14. It’s in the NIV. It says:
“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.”
This verse encourages a boy to grow up strong in his faith. To be brave and courageous. To guard his heart against evil. And to be loving in all that he does.
Oh, how I would love for my son to be all of that!
The colors in this printable are some of the main colors we used when we decorated my son’s room.
I printed this out on a white sheet of cardstock using my home printer. I used a smooth sheet of cardstock in medium weight. I stayed away from heavy or textured cardstock.
