Monthly subscription boxes seem to be all the craze right now. There are so many different kinds of subscription boxes! There’s definitely something for everyone.
You’ve probably heard of Birchbox, Stitch Fix, and Kiwi Crate. And then last month I just wrote all about how much we love the Ivy Kids subscription boxes.
Well, I just learned about a new subscription box for couples called Datebox.
When I visited the Datebox website and they literally had no information available, besides price and subscription plans.
I couldn’t find any photos of their boxes. I had no idea they were a Christian company and there was no informtaion about what was included in their boxes. There was nothing!
I would’ve walked away if it had not been for a fantastic coupon code that I had come across. I don’t know if it still works, but I used the code: fiercemarriage to get a datebox for just $5. They usually cost $35 so YAY! Now, I just need to remember to cancel my subscription, if need be, before they charge me full price next month.
Anyway, if you’re interested in Datebox but you too can’t figure out what comes in their boxes, I’ve got you covered. I got our first box today and took pictures!
Everything came in a gorgeous gold-foiled black box. I opened it up and there were little gold flower petals peeking out of the black tissue paper.
My February Datebox contained:
- 3 organic chamomile citrus tea bags
- 2 Ghirardelli milk chocolate caramel squares
- tiny tube of lotion
- coupon code to take a lesson in massage
- lined hardback journal
- booklet by Dr. Les Parrott on Selfless Love
- link to a GetDateBox playlist on Spotify
- fleece fabric swatch that says Datebox on it – not sure what that’s for…
Everything was put together in such a pretty and inviting way. It really looks too lovely to use!
I really like the concept behind Datebox. I like that they’re doing something for marriage relationships.
Marriages often get neglected with all the busyness of work, school, and kids. This looks like a great way to get couples to engage with each other. Having a date night all planned out for you is pretty nice, too.
I’m excited to try this out!
Have you tried Datebox? If so, do you like it? Let me know in the comments!
