Good Sunday morning to you! Although it’s still quite chilly here, it’s feeling more and more like spring. This morning I woke up to little birds chirping outside my window. So that’s exciting! I’m definitely ready for flowers and warmer weather.
But boy, time is flying by!! I can’t believe it’s already the 25th of March. It’s already time for the third block of the Clementine Quit Along with the Fat Quarter Shop! This month’s blocks are called Peaches and Plenty.
I chose some nice grey and peach fabrics to use in my blocks this month. All my fabrics are from the Dollhouse fabric line by Amy Sinibaldi.
There are lots of flying geese and half square triangles in these blocks. Lots!! But don’t worry, it was all worth it in the end…so it’s okay. Plus, drinking lots of peach tea helped it go faster. And these blocks are stunning!!
This block pattern is available to download for free from the Jolly Jabber. Each new block is released on the 25th of every month. Because this is a charity quilt along, quilters are asked to donate $5 to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital campaign for each pattern download.
