So, first of all…
I must get this off my chest.
Is there anyone that enjoys turning on the radio to the tune of “Christmas Shoes”?
Anyone?
Anyone at all?
I didn’t think so.
Why must we have that song playing on the radio year after year after year?
Make it stop.
Whenever that song comes on the radio, one of two things happen.
1. I drop whatever I’m doing and frantically smash the power button on my radio.
2. I cry until the torturous song is over because I’m caught up in the middle of something and can’t get to the radio.
I just think it’s an all out sin to play sad sorrowful songs on the airwaves when it’s Christmas time.
Why not a little “Jingle Bell Rock” or maybe some “Santa Baby”?
To all you DJ’s out there… It’s time to lighten the mood. Please.
That is all.
Carry on.
So, this week I was experimenting and ended up with what I think is the most delish Christmassy essential oils scent ever.
I had gotten this Christmas Spirit oil from Young Living and had high expectations for it.
Well, it didn’t exactly smell like Christmas to me.
That is, until I added some Idaho Balsam Fir.

Christmas Essential Oils Scent
6 drops Christmas Spirit
6 drops Idaho Balsam Fir
That’s it! Turn on your diffuser and enjoy!
I have an artificial tree up in my home.
I love it. No mess. And it never dies.
I did miss the fresh cut tree scent, until now.
With this new scent going on in my diffuser, I’ve got the best of both worlds.
Who could ask for more?
Except maybe a little LESS “Christmas Shoes”? Please!?
