Remember those Tilda fabrics I ordered awhile back? Well, I wasn’t sure what to create with them until I came across an adorable pattern to make a teddy bear pillow. I knew the Tilda fabrics would be perfect…
I was already in the middle of a quilting project but this sweet teddy bear just couldn’t wait. I decided I had to drop everything and put this little guy together right away. I got him all done in one weekend.
I adore this little guy so much. I machine quilted the front and hand embroidered the mouth and ears.
He wears little wooden buttons and a bit of crocheted lace on his front.
For the piecework I used the lovely prints from the Tilda Autumn Tree collection. They are so soft and feminine.
You can find the pattern for this pillow in Amy Sinibaldi’s book, Sweetly Stitched Handmades. Amy has so many sweet projects in her book. I’m looking forward to making more of her creations.
This little guy found a home in my daughter’s room and the two of them are pretty good friends now!
