I made two projects for the Quilt Petite Sew Along Round 3!
My first project was the Pretty On-Point Placemats that I made for my parents. My second project is this really neat Nebula quilt. The pattern can be found in Quilt Petite by Sedef Imer.
This mini quilt was so much more work than I thought it was going to be – the pieces are super duper tiny! But it was so fun and I loved watching it come together. I decided to go with pinks instead of blues, as the example in the book, so that it would hopefully go with my lovely peony canvas from Gracelaced.com.
I used fabric from Amy Sinibaldi’s Playground collection for Art Gallery Fabrics and Spectrum Fabrics by V and Co. for Moda. The backing is Yarn-Dyed Essex Linen in natural by Robert Kaufman.
Since this quilt is pretty small, 16.5 x 16.5, I sewed the binding by hand.
There’s just one more round left. If you want to join in for the last round, just visit Down Grapevine Lane.
