I was an 80’s kid. You could find me sporting all of the most ridiculous fashion trends. I wore my t-shirt knotted with a pair of parachute pants, a side ponytail, jelly shoes, a variety of friendship bracelets on one wrist and a scrunchie on the other, a hip pouch (that wasn’t too hip), and maybe a slap bracelet or two. But what really defined me as an 80’s kid was my love for stickers. Stickers were my thing.

I had the most jam packed sticker book ever. Smelly stickers, puffy stickers, fuzzy stickers, Cabbage Patch stickers, Q*Bert stickers, Smurf stickers, Lisa Frank stickers, and on and on… I collected and kept every sticker I found. I even put stickers on the page that said, “Do not place stickers on this page.” You won’t find a bit of empty space anywhere.
Well, last month I discovered Pipsticks and, if you’re a sticker girl like me, it’s so fun. Each month I get an envelope of a variety of stickers sent to my mailbox. Take a look!
So fun, right!? I’m adding these cute stickers to my sticker basket collection and can’t wait to see what’s in store for next month.
Although, I figure I’m too old for a sticker book, I do use stickers to decorate letters and envelopes, my planner, and I use them with crafts. I’m using them on the kids’ schoolwork to motivate and encourage them, too. They’re not as crazy about stickers as I am yet, but I’m sure they’ll get there. Hehee!
