Like all siblings do, my kids squabble. And over the silliest things, like whose turn it is to pray for dinner or whose turn it is to get in the shower first.
Well, this morning my little guy woke up feeling just awful. He had a headache, a stomachache, and a sore throat. Yuck. Poor little guy slept most of the day. He didn’t eat much of anything either. The house was quiet. It was a very sad, unhappy, somethings-not-right kind of quiet. There was no arguing or fighting of any kind all day long.
This evening I heard, “Mommy, she’s breathing on me!” and I smiled. All was right in our little household once again. With Thanksgiving still fresh on my mind, I’ve thought of another something I’m thankful for…
I’m thankful for squabbles. <grins>
Facebook can be rather unpredictable. Do you ever like pages on FB but then never get to see their status updates? Some of my favorite FB pages almost never come up in my feed. It was so weird. However, I recently learned a secret! There’s a couple things you can do to remedy this problem.
See All My FB Feeds
Assuming you’ve already “liked” my page, hold your cursor over the top grey button that says, “Liked”.
Two options should appear. Click the first option, “Posts in News Feed”. A little box will pop up and you can click “See First”. This will make any of my new posts appear at the top of your news feed.
You can also click on the second option, “Notifications”. In another window that pops up, you can customize your notifications by choosing all posts or just videos, photos, links, or status updates. Just pick and choose what you want to see.
It’s super easy! I hope that helps you as much as it has me! And thank you for being my loyal fans… <hugs>
Pink ballet shoes, ruffled tulle, grosgrain hair bows… Summer dance classes started this month and my little girlie is one of those sweet little miniature ballerinas. She’s all smiles for the entire hour. She gets 20 minutes each of tap, ballet, and gymnastics instruction. I love that she’s learning new things, having fun, and building coordination skills, while making […]
Sometimes as I’m checking my son’s schoolwork, I can’t help but laugh. Because he’s so much like me! Which is probably more bad than good, really… As I was checking my son’s math the other day I came across “What???” as his “answer” for practice problem “d” from his textbook. At first I furrowed my brows, thinking […]
We found this little guy in our backyard over the weekend. He was not shy! He happily stuck around, let me take his picture, and waddled around the yard, chasing the kids! We were doing some yard work and eventually had to pick him up and move him since he was getting in the way. He’s […]
Facebook used to be a fun safe place to connect with friends and family but today Facebook is anything but safe – it’s creepy. My blogger friend, Megan, shares how creepy FB has gotten in her post: Why You Should Kick Facebook to the Curb. How many of us signed up with Facebook and never read their terms […]
